ABOUT
In 2014 I left my corporate job in supply chain management to join a small food import business. I ran all the operations from import, quality, logistics, warehousing, distribution and customer service. Like any small business, I wore many hats - an insurance, real estate, human resources, tax, trucking, and holiday party expert all in one.
Working through tough challenges every day with a small but scrappy team was a blast, and my love for small business was born.

Fast forward to 2021, after an MBA and another job managing a field service business, I created an online wholesale business selling laboratory supplies that I ran myself. That same year we also bought a fantastic 20 year old import and distribution business from the founder who was ready to retire. In 2023 we sold the lab supply business but continue to own and operate the import business. These efforts have come together under the KB Family Capital umbrella which I run with my wife, Samantha.
